PARTYYYYYY

So on Saturday I decided to go out, and go to my first college party. Of course it was at frat house too. Well at first me and my friends went to a sorority house, but we weren't feeling the vibe. To be honest it was pretty lame, it was like I was at a high school prom. We decided to leave after almost ten minutes. At first we were going to go back to Modesto to see all our usual friends we knew from highschool, but we wanted to see new faces. That is how the frat house party came about. When we got there I was kind of uncomfortable because I did not know what to expect, but once I went inside with my friends my mood quickly changed. The house was filled of laughter and good vibes. The dj was playing the right music, everyone was dancing together. Seeing people in these crazy costumes was the best part of it because some were so creative. I mean I thought being Velma was creative but there was a girl that was pooh bear, it was the cutest outfit. Usually on weekends I stay home cu...

Peace of Mind

My highschool had probably almost 3,000 students attending. So you could imagine how loud and disturbing it was. The hallways were like nightmare on elm street, I mean it was a horror. It almost made you not want to go to school because once you got there you had no more privacy. Everyone who knew about you even if you did not know them. It was a disaster, it was like my peers all watched Mean Girls and decided they wanted to make a remake. There was rumors and gossip floating around at all time. It is a miracle that I was actually present in my highschool years, if you knew me you would know why. I am the type of person that gets along with everyone. Most people say I have a chill vibe, I mean even when I am in a bad mood I try not to show it. In general I like to be around good vibes, just a calm environment. I guess that is why I chose to go to Stan State, the campus is one big wave of good vibes. Walking through campus it is almost as if I am floating on water. It is such a big c...

UNPREDICTABLE

The other day I was in my fine arts class and my wifi stopped working. The wifi was much needed because the building has no service, plus my phone is the only thing that keeps me alive in the class. I mean it is probably because my friends and I have a group chat, and man it never fails to kill me. So, basically what I am trying to say is that the wifi being horrible is a struggle. One week I will have wifi and then the following week I am in a dead zone. It is so unpredictable, and it always is bad when I need it. I mean boring classes is not the only reason why I need it. My math class requires my laptop, so when the wifi wakes up on the wrong side of the bed it takes me with it. The other day my wifi locked me out because i didn't know I had to reset my password every six months. When I went in to handle the situation it took almost 15 minutes because it locked me out twice. In those 15 minutes I learned that it is impossible to come up with a password that fits all 500 requir...

New Chapter

College has became a new chapter of my life. New chapter of your life can be scary and you almost done even want to go through them because you know there's always challenges. But at the same time a new chapter can bring many benefits along with it. You are able to have a completely fresh start. I mean for starts this new chapter of life  I have completely different friends, and some of them are a surprise. The new friends I made are shocking because in highschool I would always isolate myself. In college I've learned to be more outgoing, and I try to smile more. My mom told me if I didn't have an aggressive look all the time it would help me out, so I actually listened. I've also learned that in this new chapter i'm no longer a pushover, so when there's a group assignment I'm not the only one doing it. I've become more aware of my responsibilities, before I wouldn't care what I did if it didn't concern me. But in college you're going to sc...

College vs Highschool

Today I realized that college is very different from high school. College has its pros but it does have its cons. In college you really don't even have to show up to class because in most of the classes they don't take roll. High School is probably disgusted with that fact considering, if you missed a certain amount of days you could get detention. The teachers were also strict and uptight, but at the same time some teachers were lenient. I would be able to turn in my work late and it wouldn't even drop my grade. I think that's why college was such a big jump for me, I wasn't used to having to actually do things. When you're in college late assignments do not even exist. When you're allowed to miss class it's hard to want to show up. But, for me I have to because if I miss one assignment your whole grade can change. The professors didn't mention that when they said they didn't take roll. Even though college has more work it has brought me more ...
