School Parking

How does one get a parking at school. Let me tell to you it's harder than it seems. I mean in high school to park there for one its was free, but two there was always parking available. In college it's a completely different story, I have to wake up an extra 20 minutes to get a good parking. Thats if im lucky enough to even find one, most of the time there's still nothing. Like do they honestly expect me to wake up an hour earlier than I should have to. Why can't they build a new parking lot? I mean I'm paying to go to school the least there could be is parking. There has been times where i was late to class because I was still on the search for a parking. It's like the hunger games out there, I'm surprised someone hasn't hit my car honestly. On top of it all its cost $180 for a parking pass. That's not even for the whole year, it's only for a semester. When I found this out I nearly passed out, don't they know I'm a broke college kid. ...

Time Management

Starting college was big step up from high school! They were totally two different things, and highschool did not prepare me for this. When I was a senior my time management didn't even matter because I would just do my homework the period before it was due. Now it's completely different time management is everything. In college you have to make things work because you have more work than you're used to, so if you don't you basically will fail. You can't just turn things in late either because the professors aren't lenient. So instead of just going with the flow, I find it better for me to just plan out my week ahead of time. That way I'm able to incorporate study time throughout my day. Some days i have huge gaps between classes so during that spare time is where I'll do my homework, or study. Doing this lowers my stress level, I'm not all flustered trying to get things finished all at one time. This helps me get better sleep because since my work i...

TIRED

I realized that having to commute to school everyday really sucks. I mean I wake up at 5:15. Well actually I always put snooze on the alarm, so really I wake up at 6:10. Then I'm supposed to drive to school, but I'm so tired I swear I'm going to swerve off the road. Then when I get to class I just want to sleep because my professors like to lecture with monotone voices. Like who can even stay up and listen to them. I mean I would totally be able to listen to them, if school started later in the day and I could sleep in. On top of not being able to stay awake, I also look like a hot mess. Getting ready in the morning doesn't even exist anymore. My eyes got it the worse though I look like a zombie that hasn't eaten in days. Guess I should get more sleep, but wait I can't because I have so much homework. Sometimes I have a late class and don’t get home till almost 9. That means i have to stay up till two in the morning doing homework, keep in mind i have to wake u...

First Day of School

Waking up for the first day was a bittersweet moment. I was starting a new part of my life, but at the same time I didn't even want to start because I was so tired. The whole time I was driving I was slowing getting nervous, and I could feel the butterflies. Once I got there it took me about 5 mintues to find parking. I was about thirty minutes early so I waited in my car, I almost considered going back home because I didn't think I was ready for college. Sitting in my English class I knew that this is something I'm going to enjoy, and all I have to do is apply myself. After class I got to talk to a sorority I was interested in, but after talking to the girls about it I realized that it wasn't for me. My friend finally got out of class at that point, so we went over to her new apartment and I got to experience dorm life. I had to leave and head back over for my math class. I got into class and at first I wasn't feeling the vibe because I thought the teacher was rude...
